Basics for beginners - Stained glass 101
Join this immersive class to learn the Tiffany-style stained glass technique and assemble a small sun-catcher made of 12-15 pieces of glass.
Hands-on techniques:
Cut glass (primarily geometric straight lines)
Grind edges to match pattern
Copper foil each piece to prepare for assembly
Solder glass pieces together
Polish to a shine
Add hooks to be ready to hang
Through guided instruction, you will explore the basics from start to finish to craft a small panel ~ approx. 6”x12”.
Available patterns will be shared prior to the class start.
Class details:
5 hour class • You will be in a class with up to 3 other students
All materials and tools are provided • No prior experience required
